The Word is our perfect guide to what it means to have a relationship with God. It contains not only a detailed map, but also testimony upon testimony of real people who reached the end goal of knowing the Lord. In this teaching we tear apart Psalm 19:7-11 to understand how the Word is promised to revive the soul, bring joy to the heart, give insight to life and make us wise. In order to see and understand the Word clearly, we much be willing to approach it in humility, knowing that our own wisdom is worthless compared to the priceless wisdom of God. We must be willing to approach the Lord in desperate need and set aside our pride that says we have things all figured out. In doing this, God promises we will find life because we will find Him.
