Jesus says He comes like a thief. He always comes to invade the domain of the enemy and steal what the enemy once held. The final bowl judgment brings lightning, thunder, rumblings and a great earthquake. God declares that it is done. The judgment has been planned and now it has been completed. It is a judgment of people and apostasy. God uses these events to prepare the earth for its redemption. But there is still the hail. It is literal and people and the earth is pummeled. It is also metaphorical as Jesus always brings the hail on those who curse Him.
