The Spirit causes us to fear God—to hate all evil and reject all that is not God—allowing us to give God glory and to worship Him. An angel delivers the gospel message so all are without excuse. Another angel announces Babylon’s demise; she has destroyed herself off with the impotency of her promises. Her spiritual apostasy has caused the nations to be drunk with her legalism and religious falsehood.
