After the death of the witnesses, the people of the earth leave them unburied and rejoice over their death. But after 3.5 days the witnesses were resurrected from the dead and they stood up on their feet. And in the presence of their enemies God calls them up to heaven in a cloud. Then the beast turns against those of the apostate religion that he once supported and many people died. He also dismantles the entire religious construct until all that is left is his religion.
