God used 3 extreme examples of apostasy in the Old Testament (His own people, the Angels, and Sodom and Gomorrah) to communicate the dangers of teaching which perverts the grace of God and adds anything or takes anything away from our needing to live 100% dependent upon Jesus for every part of our lies. We need to take this issue of wrong belief and unbelief as serious as God takes it.
