The road of apostasy is a slippery slope of corruption. If apostates can’t manipulate God to get what they want by being good for Him and doing good for Him, then they will pillage the followers of God to take what they want. And then when that is not enough, they will demand the power, the authority, and the right to lead regardless of what God wants. They will force their will on both the people of God and those that God has set apart and chosen for His work.
