The primary way God talks to us and even leads us is through His Word. God promises us many things through the Word if we are willing to do the work to practically seek Him in it, however, if those promises are our goal, we will be sadly disappointed. We must seek God to know Him. This is to be our focus and the promises are to be the icing on the cake. We need consistency in our relational pursuit of Him if we want to consistently receive His leading in our lives. In addition, we take a look at the choice we have in either presenting ourselves to the world or presenting ourselves to God, and the consequences of that take place because of this choice.
