Because our witnesses are failed human beings that God honored we can be comforted to know that He will honor us. We must lay aside our encumbrance of wrong belief and our sin of unbelief. They not only hinder our race, but cause us to stumble about. We must fix our eyes on who Jesus is and who we are in Jesus’ eyes. The proper view of Jesus will strengthen you and enable you to run your race with endurance. In the same way that we are Jesus’ joy and His motivation, He has set a reward in front of us that is to be our joy and our motivation—oneness with Him.
