Faith is always active and never passive and is always proved out in our lives in the choices we make. Noah heard God’s voice and built a very big boat and by this act condemned the world and became an heir of righteousness—his life proved that he knew God and that others clearly did not. Noah did not build the boat to prove his faith but the building of the boat was evidence of his faith. In a culture of evil, Noah found favor with God because he walked arm and arm with Him. Despite the trouble, persecution, and difficulty he did everything exactly as God had commanded him.
