God’s view of life and death, success and failure, is far different than ours and we need to conform our view to God’s view. On the one hand His people have great victory and on the other they suffer and die; both accomplish His purposes. We have to know that we do not belong to this world, we are exiles and strangers, we have been chosen out of this world to accomplish the Lord’s purposes in the world. Our hope and our reward is in eternity and not in this life. We must separate from our attachments to this world and display the faith that supersedes that of the saints of old.
