The story of Barak is about the amazing faith of 2 women and the failings of a man which underscores the fact that the Hall of Faith is about God's faithfulness in the midst of man's failings. The men of Israel were like babies so God raised up a Mother to be their Judge. The enemy who thought he was so strong behaved just like a baby before the mighty hand of God. The enemy was also Mothered by a woman whose very hands would be his ultimate end. The glory belonged to the women who believed whereas the men just got to watch.
