God sees us based on who He is making us into and not who we are. In God’s eyes Gideon was a mighty man of faith even though he was filled with doubt, weakness, and anger toward God. Yet, all it took was one step of faith and Gideon quickly became a different man and God used him to deliver the nation by a miracle no less great than at Jericho. They all stood and watched God’s deliverance. The Lord always goes before us to conquer the enemies in our soul. It does not matter how big the wound or how many wounds you have, He will bring you peace if you let go and let Him rule over you.
