Fear lurks in our hearts and is an enemy to our faith. We fear that God’s plans for our lives are not for good so we resist His will. Moses’ heart was filled with fear. He had tried to step out into the Lord’s plans before and it was a failure. But God wanted to remove all fear from his heart and the hearts of the Israelites by sending him back to Egypt. He demonstrated 10 reasons why they should trust Him. And then when their backs were against the wall (of water) He fought for them and delivered them proving that He is faithful and worthy of our trust. We must push through our fear, stomp on our doubt, reject the voice of the enemy who tells us to not trust God. We must see what God has done and know that He will be always be faithful.
