In this teaching, we begin to understand the basic nature of God's interest in our lives; to be in relationship with us. We can find comfort in knowing that he counts us worthy despite our flaws and sinfulness. Throughout this teaching we can see that although it was the Lord who predestined us to know Him, we have a choice to believe what He says is true about us. We can begin to praise the Lord that He is only good and merciful, giving us the ability to choose Him amidst our sin when we otherwise may not have been able to. The Lord's redemption is the backbone of our ability to stand firm in our faith and follow our good shepherd. Our inheritance is 100% ensured and He delights in those He has called to join in His magnificent feast.
